Tea and wine lovers seem to share one more unfortunate fact of life: fake stuff. For many fine tea collectors, the prospect of buying highly sought after and antique teas is burdened with such risk. The same goes for wine, too (and any luxury product for that matter). Let us kneel before the altars of Bacchus and Lu Yu to chant our favorite cliché together…caveat emptor, caveat emptor, caveat emptor!
